You can clearly see in the picture below that MAC’s has dried almost instantly whereas UD’s hasn’t.

Although UD’s concealer gives just as good coverage, it feels very light on the skin – weightless almost and lives up to it’s ‘Naked Skin’ name (fancy that, a company making a product that actually does what it says on the tin!). After a long day at work, I’d look in the mirror and I could see exactly where I had put the concealer in the morning as it had disintegrated and sat weirdly on top of my foundation. The one main niggle I had with this, is that it tends to separate on me from my foundation as it’s quite drying. It does settle into fine lines, even with powder but not as much as other concealers I have used in the past. MAC’s concealer is industrial strength, it will cover anything up but the consistency is quite thick so you need to be careful in not using too much and getting cake face. However, the Naked Concealer comes in a tube with a doe foot applicator – much more Rosie friendly. The pump on the Pro longwear concealer always dispensed way too much so you usually wasted a lot of product with each use (I could literally see my money go down the drain). The packaging is 1000000% better than MAC’s. I’d heard nothing but praise for the new kid on the block ‘ Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer‘ so I decided to see for myself what all the fuss was about.Īfter Googling shade swatches, I went for Fair/Neutral – the lightest shade in the range (no surprise there then). I’ve used MAC’s Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15 for the best part of 2015 and it is the best concealer I had ever used, until now.
Some are too dry, some are too liquidy, some oxidise, some settle into those unwanted lines & some just don’t want to blend. When your concealer just isn’t cutting it.
